Thornton Park Ice Arena offers learn-to-skate group lessons under the U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Program. Swimming Pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, offering open swimming; learn to swim, lap swimming and competitive swimming opportunities. Thornton Park is also home to tennis courts, a batting cage, walking trail, sledding hill, sand volleyball court, playground, basketball court and a skate park.
