Ready for some Christmas cheer? Join Avon Lake Drama Club as they present Elf the Musical JR on Dec. 5-8. Meet Buddy who grew up in the magical North Pole after stowing away in Santa’s bag as an orphaned infant. Buddy’s excitable and naive character is in for the culture-shock of a lifetime as he searches for his biological father in New York City. Buddy’s ecstatic nature leaves him sticking out like a sore thumb in the big city (and the elf outfit doesn’t help, either). Buddy must find a way for his family and NYC to embrace the spirit of Christmas.
