Cleveland Metroparks naturalist Jake Kudrna join us for a family-friendly fall hike down the newly completed Towpath Trail (Centennial Lake Link Trail) in conjunction with Author Donna Przbojewski’s Henry David Thoreau Loved the Seasons of the Year. Przybojewski, a Thoreau Society Ambassador and teacher in Garfield Heights, will read from her children’s book along the way, linking Thoreau’s writings about the change in season at Walden Pond with our natural experience along the newly reclaimed Cuyahoga riverbank.

Meet at the Cleveland sign on Abbey Ave 1:00pm. Free parking is available across the street, in the paved lot under the Innerbelt Bridge.

Book signing to follow the hike, $1 hot cocoa available back at the bookstore.

*in case of inclement weather, join us at the bookstore (2258 Professor Ave) at 1:00pm
