Paula is the mother of five children and three of them just happen to be gay. Discrimination based on sexual orientation is real and unless you, the parent, are also gay, there’s little chance you really understand what your child is going through. Only one response to your child’s “coming out” is needed. And that is love.
‘Always Our Children’ offers support and advice to parents of LGBT children. It may also assist parents of disabled, autistic, and handicapped children as well. In a world where parents demand perfection, sometimes it pays to remind ourselves that imperfections are equally beautiful.
